BACKSTORY:

While Nevels was in undergrad,  interning at Tommy Hilfiger in New York City.  She ran into fashion stylist  Desiree Konian,  when she was pulling for a photoshoot.  Meeting Konian,  she asked if she could assist her with a job and Konian gave her an address to show up at a location.   Later she found out,  it was for an M.T.V., VMA commercial.  Konian threw her in and gave Nevels first hand experience with the business, where she learned a lot . That summer, she work with her and other  New York based stylist, such as Sam Jardeh on a Target shoot and a few more fashion people. 

In 2017 , Nevels worked in California - at KIN Los Angeles, a designer boutique on Sunset Blvd.  She was influenced by and assisted the stylist that would come through the store.  One day, I was given some great advice from celebrity stylists, who encouraged me to make use of my time at the boutique and use the clothing - which was at my disposal-to create visual stories.  From there,  I began my artistic journey with various photographers-and the rest is history.
